Slinkachu

Slinkachu is a widely known street artist how has been leaving little human figures on the streets of London since 2006. The very first installation that he created was called ‘Little People in the City.’ This saw the first of many miniature men, woman and children living their lives on the streets of London. Other projects of his have included ‘Whatever Happened to the Men of Tomorrow’ which tells the story of a declined middle-aged superhero that is living on the streets of London. ‘Inner City Snail – a slow moving street art project’ which shows a number of customized snails that went about their daily business. I have always been an admirer of his work and I just find these installations to be a brilliant concept that draws attention to scale, detail and location. I love how they are hidden away from the public’s eye in the city streets, almost like there lost.
