Kyle Kirkpatrick constructs these
wonderful tiny dioramas by using topographies of carved books. He creates unique worlds from these objects
and I love how he has created a fascination with miniature art by carefully
carving landscapes out of these weighty books. I see these pieces as having
incredible precision. He concentrates of the notion of imaginative landscapes.
He uses man-made objects and natural materials to create a very meticulously
installation. I see his collection to have a very intriguing take on how we see
objects being taken out of context.
